Libyan National Centre for Standardization and Metrology (LNCSM)

The Libyan National Center for Standardization and Metrology (LNCSM) is a governmental institution established in 1991 and is based in Tripoli. LNCSM is governed by a Board of Directors, headed by the Ministry of Planning, and comprising 10 representatives from different Ministries. The main task of LNCSM is to develop national Standards (and/or adapt international standards). LNCSM also grants a voluntary Libyan Quality Mark and accredits inspection bodies.
